500 Years of Heavenly Music

500 years ago this year, Martin Luther published his famous Ninety-five Theses, which marked the beginning the Reformation. The schism from the Catholic Church and the birth of the Protestant faith would have dramatic and long-standing effects on every aspect of European life – including music.

In this upcoming music documentary the influence of the Reformation on western classical music is explored, through the voices and sounds of some of Sweden’s most renowned singers and musicians.
